      <image:title>College Portfolio - Self Portrait (Perspective A)</image:title>
<image:caption>Self Portrait (Perspective A) 2019 Bronze 2 days 6”x2”x3” This piece was made using a wax sculpture of myself as a cast. I chose to use a statue of myself to turn into brass because not many of my pieces are depictions of me and I wanted to change that.</image:caption>

      <image:title>College Portfolio - Brass Spider (Angle C)</image:title>
<image:caption>2019 Brass One day 4”x4”x9” The Brass Spider was the first brass sculpture I made, so it was an experiment figuring out the steps and process to make it. Sculpting it from wax and watching as it takes a metal shape was quite the feeling.</image:caption>

      <image:title>College Portfolio - Lock and Key</image:title>
<image:caption>2019 Wax Half a day 4”x1”x2” The lock and key were an experiment with wax to create two everyday items. I wanted these two items to be connected to one another, and what better pair than a lock and a key.</image:caption>

<image:title>College Portfolio - Cactus With No Glochids (Southwest Commission (2020)</image:title>
<image:caption>2020 Copper Piping Half a day 12”x6”x6” The Cactus was a commission inspired by the Southwest, with the commissioner asking specifically for the item to be both a foot in height as well as based on their favorite cactus. The reason behind the name was that the first idea was that the cactus would be covered in spines. The idea was scrapped in the end, with a replacement being small flowers placed on top of each of the cactus arms, thus it was a “Cactus With No Glochids.”</image:caption>

<image:caption>2019 Copper Less than half a day 4”x2”x2” These small trees were a commission and used by the client as gifts for friends during the holidays. <image:title>College Portfolio - The Single Leaf</image:title>
<image:caption>2019 Copper Half a day 9”x2”x4” The leaf was made using a patterned press, and rolling a piece of metal folded in half and cut in a curve. After being rolled, the metal was split open to make a good leaf shape, which is now being held by a copper stem.</image:caption>

      <image:title>College Portfolio - Enemy Territory</image:title>
<image:caption>2019 Copper Half a day 7”x4.5”x4” The enemy territory sculpture was made to be a showcase for my gaming models. It is intended to help them stand out against the orange and black background as well as add some perspective and story to where they stand.</image:caption>

      <image:title>College Portfolio - The Hanged Man</image:title>
<image:caption>2020 Copper Half a day 5”x3”x3” Making The Hanged Man was something I enjoyed, with everything coming together the way I wanted where it could have gone wrong because of the delicate nature of the smaller pieces. The Hanged Man was meant to be something abstract, but easily interpretable by those viewing it.</image:caption>

<image:title>College Portfolio - Rise or Set, There Will Be a Sun</image:title>
<image:caption>2019 Copper Half a day 7”x3.5” The sunlight sculpture was an experiment to make a landscape out of scrap that was lying around, trying to turn the many discarded pieces into something beautiful.</image:caption>

      <image:title>College Portfolio - The Sunken Ship</image:title>
<image:caption>2019 Copper Half a day 12”x3”x4” The sunken ship was an experiment in making a “scene in action” as a sculpture. While the tentacles were easy to make, it took more time than expected to make the ship, as well as position it with the tentacles to make a scene full of action.</image:caption>

      <image:title>College Portfolio - The Beast Between Dimensions</image:title>
<image:caption>2019 Copper Half a day 12”x5”x4” The Beast was a sculpture experiment between 2D and 3D, with the goal being something that was flat yet still popped out (literally) to the viewer.</image:caption>

      <image:title>College Portfolio - The Bird Who Watches</image:title>
<image:caption>2019 Wax Half a day 6”x3”x3” This wax sculpture started as only a dead tree, with a gaping hole in its trunk and barren roots and branches. It was too barren for my liking so I added two details to the dead tree: a small shriveled leaf on one of its branches and a small black bird who watches over it.</image:caption>

The reason behind the name was that the first idea was that the cactus would be covered in spines. The idea was scrapped in the end, with a replacement being small flowers placed on top of each of the cactus arms, thus it was a “Cactus With No Glochids.”</image:caption>

<image:caption>2019 Copper Half a days time 12”x5”x4” The Beast was a sculpture that was meant to experiment between 2D and 3D, with the goal being something that was flat yet still popped out (literally) to the viewer.</image:caption>

<image:caption>2019 Wax Half a day 6”x3”x3” This wax sculpture started as only a dead tree, with a gaping hole in its trunk and barren roots and branches. It was too barren for my liking so I added two detail to the dead tree, a small shriveled leaf on one of its branches and a small black bird who watches over it.</image:caption>

<image:caption>2019 Copper Half a days time 12”x3”x4” The sunken ship was an experiment to attempt to make a sculpture that was a “scene in action.” While the tentacles were easy to make, it took more time then expected to make the ship, as well as position it with the tentacles to make a conveying seen.</image:caption>
